The Insurance Agent Samurai is a major component in the electronic Systems of Insurance Companies. The Insurance agent’s Samurai is the system meant for insurance agent that helps to automated most of the functionalities in the insurance policy related activities. This system should have the facility to enter the customer details who wants to take an insurance scheme. The system should be able to provide necessary illustrations and calculate the premium amount.
Functionality:
1Login & Registration
Each Insurance agent is the registered user of this system. If the user is not registered, then registration screen should be available. Login functionality should check the authenticity of the user from the database.
2 Insurance selection Screen
This screen facilitates the Insurance agent to browse through the various insurance policies by that company
3. Insurance Catalog search Screen
This screen facilitates the Insurance agent to do a keyword based search for the different Insurance policies, for the previous customers (those who have taken insurance through him/her), and premium due date between the start and end dates for previous customers
4 Customer Entry Screen
This screen allows Insurance agent to enter the customer details in the database tables. This information can be used to prepare the policy forms and for future usage (e.g. customer wants one more policy in future.)
5 Premium Calculator & Illustration Screen
This is a major component of the system. This screen should allow the Insurance agent to enter the details of customer and select the desired insurance policy and duration. On submitting the request, the system should generate illustration on the screen and provide details as the amount of premium, annually, quarterly etc.
6. Policy forms generator Screen
A policy form would be generated and can be printed. The data values in each field of this form are stored in database with unique id.
