Karnataka Scholarship for Konkani students worth Rs 2 crore

This article will provide you the details about Karnataka Scholarship for Konkani students worth Rs 2 crore. Students who are having mother-tongue as Konkani will receive this scholarship, there are more than 1300 students will be get benefited in this scheme.

Students who are economically backward and from Konkani communities are eligible to receive this scholarship. This scheme found and established by World Konkani Centre and scholarships being given by Vishwa Konkani Student.

As per official source there are 480 Engineering/MBBS Students will get Scholarship in this scheme. Also aspirations of PUC and degree students will receive Rs. 40 lakh in this 2012 year. There are 550 pre-university and degree students from Sharvi and Kudubi in Karnataka have been selected for this new scheme. Also 100 Kerala students who is doing graduation in this year selected for this scholarships. Students who have selected, they will receive Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 5,000. Students will receive this scholarship amount on 25th August in one function.
