This decision taken because some applicants faced some difficulty to not only securing online appointments, even to accessing www.passportindia.gov.in website. Also many people not familiar with internet so they are feeling more difficult and stressful to process online application. So K.J. Srinivasa, Regional Passport Officer, Bangalore accepted hard copies on a “trial basis” to help these applicants.
New Procedure to Fill Passport in Bangalore by downloading Application ?
Step 1: People can fill the new application form by downloading passport application from www.passportindia.gov.in. Fill the application form carefully without any mistake or correction in application form.
Step 2: You have to submit the filled application to RPO, Koramangala along with self-attested copy of all required documents for verification purpose.
Step 3: The processing fee will be accepted either by cash or demand draft. The amount should be payable to Regional Passport Officer, Bangalore.
Step 4: Applicants should provide your recent size photograph with white background. Also photo size should be in the format of 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm size. Applicants not required to fill online application or online appointment for submitting this application.
Note : RPO, Bangalore will not accept Tatkaal applications during this period.
