Government of India The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) invites proposals from Indian Companies under the SBIRI Scheme. The Unique features of SBIRI is that helping small and medium business units including new enterprises with maximum of 500 employees in Research and Development (R&D). It provides the Phase II funding towards commercialization of research leads.
Who can Register for SBIRI ?
Life Science Industries and any other enterprises focusing on scientific innovations can apply.
Eligibility to Apply for SBIRI 2012 :
Application can be submitted solely by an Indian Companies or jointly with public partner (Universities or National Institutes).
Should be than 51% of shares of the Company are to be held by Indian Citizens.
Industry should be DSIR recognized, Joint Ventures and limited partnerships
How to Submit Application ?
Application can be submitted through two mode(Online and Offline)
1)SBIRI 2012 Applications are encouraged to submit through online proposals at http://sbiri.nic.in/forms/frmAppendixA.aspx this website link. If you choose online submission no hard copy of application/ proposal required.
2) You can also submit Hard Copy check more details at www.dbtindia.nic.in
